Approaching a Solution | TWO | I

After having visited the slums and interviewing the women and medical practitioners there I have collected information on their daily lives. The places they frequent, and the people they come in contact with help greatly in propagating the message of an anaemia-free life. A look at the places they frequent:

LOCALITY
Home Always, and sometimes work is performed at home besides other household duties like cooking, cleaning. Grooming, feeding children and communing with family members also happens here. In Muslim communities, it is more common that the daughters or women in the house are not allowed outside often.
Toilet (Public /Common) A few times everyday.
Market OR Other Public Spaces Few times in a week to purchase foodstuff and other necessities.

OTHERS
The following places may or may not be in the locality:
Workplaces They may work a few jobs at a time or work from home, as mentioned earlier.
Dispensary or Govt. Hospital When they visit for medicines or check-ups
N.G.O. When they visit for medicines, check-ups, meetings or necessities that the N.G.O. provides.
Places of Worship Temples, mosques, churches or places of religious gathering.

We must also not forget if that there is something she can have on her person almost throughout the day, that should also serve some purpose.

The chart below shows the places they frequent and the power of placing the media there. (Frequency and duration). At each of these places, different types of media can be strategically placed or dispensed so as to remind to take pills, or reinforce information on anaemia.  I've given colours to denote how powerful each place is. (Some are frequented often but not with much duration and vice versa.)
